Earth Neutrals Bean Tossies and Sand Stackies are perfect for small hands to manage with a lovely soft, sensory feel. Ideal for indoor or outdoor play they can be used for throwing and catching, sorting, stacking, colour play and counting and as fabulous props for imaginative play.

Benefits of Using Bean Bags:

  • Younger children may find bean bags easier to handle than a ball. A bean bag is usually smaller and softer than a ball; consequently a child has less fear of being hit or hurt.
  • Because bean bags can’t roll away, they may be less frustrating for the child with poor coordination skills.
  • Catching and throwing a bean bag helps a child develop the skill of grasp and release.
  • A bean bag will help a child develop the hand strength required for handling a ball.

Each set is made up of 8 Tossies or Stackies.

Bean Tossies are pyramid-shaped and filled with food-grade Australian-grown dried peas.

Sand Stackies are flat, cotton-lined and filled with clean, washed sand.

Both are about 10cm and made from 100% cotton drill fabric.

They come with their own unique, reusable calico storage bag.

Tossies are lovingly hand-made in Perth, Western Australia with 100% cotton fabrics and filled with earth-friendly fillings. When Tossies and Stackies have finished their life entertaining and educating your kids, they can be composted or tossed in the garden guilt-free.

The peas may pose a choking hazard so are not recommended for children under 3 years.
